Instructions for the 82" x 82" Triple Chain Quilt top
Cut (3) 10.5" x wof strips.
Cut (8) 6.5" x wof strips. Set these aside for the outer borders.
Cut (32) 2.5" x wof strips.
For Set A:
Count out 21 of the 2.5" x wof background strips. Cut each strip in half on the fold
(the 2.5" side) to yield a total of (42) 2.5" x 21 or 22" strips.
Remove 1 strip and place the remaining 41 half strips in a pile for Set A.
For Set B:
Subcut the 10.5" x wof strips into (12) 10.5" squares.
Count out (3) of the 2.5" x wof strips - cut each in half on the fold to yield
a total of (6) 2.5" x 21 or 22" strips.
Subcut the remaining (8) 2.5" x wof strips into (48) 2.5" x 6.5" strips.
Jelly Roll fabrics
For Set A:
Count out 22 Jelly roll strips (2.5" x wof) Cut each strip in half on fold to yield
a total of (44) 2.5" x 21 or 22" strips.
Remove 1 of the half strips and place the remaining 43 half strips
with the background fabrics you cut for Set A.
For Set B:
Count out 6 Jelly roll strips (2.5" x wof) - cut each strip in half on fold to yield
a total of (12) 2.5" x 21 or 22" strips.
Place 6 of the half strips with the background fabrics you cut for Set B.
Cut the remaining 6 half strips into (48) 2.5" squares.
Save the remaining 2.5" x wof strips you have left over from your Jelly Roll bundle.
You can use some of these to make a scrappy binding for your quilt
