Today I'm providing you with the cutting instructions for your Jelly Roll friendly Triple Chain quilt. A version that finishes at 82" x 82" and a smaller lap size version that finishes at 56" square.
Cutting instructions for the 82" version are provided in the tab above found HERE.
Cutting instructions for the lap size version are found HERE.
They will remain on my blog for FREE thru February 29, 2016 - LEAP DAY.
I am providing a few picture examples to help those in need of visual aid thru the cutting process. Click on any of these pictures to enlarge them if necessary.
Your background strip sets should look like this (before sub-cutting)
FYI: ALL 2.5" x wof strips (cut selvage to selvage) will be sub-cut in HALF along the fold line. this includes your jelly roll strips and background strips.

I had to order my background fabric. I hope I get it before next Sunday. I will be cutting my jelly roll this week. This is going to be fun.ReplyDelete
Ok, I made the committing move and opened my Jelly Roll :) Any advice for multicolor strips? I am using primarily blue strips and yellow strips with bits of pink and green. Should we mix the colors within groups A and B?ReplyDelete
Well, I've copied the instructions and would like to cut some 2.5" scraps. I'll see how far I get :0)ReplyDelete
Off to a fun start! Everything cut and separated for A & B sets and in time to watch Downton Abbey...ReplyDelete
You are a generous teacher! Looking forward to seeing all of the great quilts that come from this project.ReplyDelete
Yay! I was waiting for this. I'll search the fabric stash and see what I can come up with. If I commit then I will be making the smaller version.ReplyDelete
Thanks for doing this Doreen!
