Several blocks to share this week

Tomorrow I will be linking up to the mid month Show & Tell for the Shenandoah Valley Botanical sew along. This is my Red & Taupe version of the Star in the East block. I created the crossing stems by fussy cutting a striped and dotty print fabric.

Also for the week, I've completed 2 more Dutch Treat blocks:

PINWHEEL

RIOT of GROWTH

every quilt tells a story....

  12. Wow! I love the fussy cut stripe for the stems. So clever. Your color scheme is so restful. Sometime I think mine is glowing in the dark! I love the Dutch Treat blocks, especially Riot of Growth. It reminds me of the tile or "stonewall" type quilts which I love.
