Hearts, Flowers & Snow ... Oh My!

Well it must be Valentines Day if all of the above are true!
I completed H-12 Hannah's Hearts this week for my new Red Jane quilt.

Here is a little sneak preview of my newest quilt & pattern called Sugar Trail.
Now that it's been quilted, today I am adding the binding fabric to officially call this one a Finish. I love the Flowers in the border print so much that I decided to use this fabric for the binding as well. (fabric is Scarlet Evening by Judie Rothermel)

Our total snow accumulation from this winter storm was a whopping 16.5 inches! Hubby spent a good part of yesterday shoveling. Look at how neatly he cleared the front walkway.

He even created a little corral type area for our little dog to roam in.
Yes, he is definately a "Keeper". (grin)

Wishing you all a safe, warm and Happy Valentines Day!

every quilt tells a story...

  12. Love your projects. We had 2 inches of snow here in Southern Virginia, but then it began raining and melted it all away. Today it was nearly 60.

  17. Love that Judie Rothermel fabric - a great choice for your borders! Have a question - how in the world do you keep your pooch in the corral area? For some crazy reason our 3 shelties head for the highest snow drifts and try to plow through...maybe they were sled dogs in an earlier life??

  21. I love the red, black and white color combination together. We got a little more snow last night, and I think that breaks our record for snowiest winter on record.
