My Quilt at the national Dear Jane Exhibit

Here is my quilt hanging as part of the Tribute to Jane Stickle exhibit hosted by Brenda Papadakis. (you can click the picture to enlarge it)

The exhibit took place last weekend at the Vermont Quilt Festival.
I feel so humbled, honored and appreciative for the opportunity to have been included in such a very special celebratory event.

Below is another picture of my quilt (and another Jane). That is Brenda standing to the right presenting part of her lecture.

I would like to extend a very special Thank You to Deborah Bingham, a very talented fellow Janiac for taking these pictures for me!

And a huge CONGRATULATIONS to Brenda Papadakis for her very special exhibit honoring a great American Treasure.
The Jane A. Stickle quilt is celebrating her 150th Anniversary this year.
I'm very thankful for Brenda's many years of dedication to promoting and bringing awareness to this very special quilt!

every quilt tells a story....

  18. It has been such a pleasure following along in the making of this quilt. To see it displayed in the presence of Brenda is a fitting end to the story. I wonder how many people you inspired to sew along (not just the Flickr group) , we are all cheering for you.
