What a Month!

August has certainly been an eventful month for me!
Major surgery, an Earthquake and Hurricane Irene have certainly kept me pre-occupied. I would like to thank all of my blog friends for their well wishes!

With limited use of my left arm, I've still been able to work on some small stitchery projects. Here is my Calendar Girls quilt block for August.
Tomorrow is my post-operative Dr's appt. I'm hoping to get the "thumbs up" for getting back to normal activities. I've really MISSED my sewing machine!

Sending Prayers & Well Wishes to all those still effected by the Hurricane!

every quilt tells a story...

  8. You've done well considering your temporary disability!! All the best with your continuing recovery to full use of your arm. I have been watching the news here about the hurricane, such terrible destruction in some places, so sad that there were deaths too.

  12. Hi Doreen...so glad to see you posting again. I hope you are recovering well from your surgery. Yes, the weather has certainly been nasty for the states lately. We are fortunate here...August has been a lovely month, although there was snow in the mountains the other day...say it isn't so!

Looking forward to seeing your sewing projects!
Wishing you the very best for a speedy recovery, dear friend.
    Hugs, Nancy W.
